Children Today is aiming to raise £10,000 this summer to help provide adapted equipment and services for disabled children and young adults to help them get regular exercise.

Since, I (Lexi) started working for Children Today it's really opened my eyes to the inequality and challenges faced by those with a disability. There are so many simple everyday things that I take for granted - a family outing to the beach, being able to eat around the dinner table together, knowing my kids are safe! These are just some of the things that aren't possible for some people - and this makes me so sad and angry too!

It's really important to me that my children appreciate and understand diversity in all its forms. So, I've roped Lissie and Edie 
(and John too) to do 10 laps of Chester Racecourse (totalling 10 miles and 10 furlongs!)
