Nothing says you care like putting your life on the line, and Cancer Research Wales is definitely worth it! The work they do is invaluable and the steps they are making towards understanding and beating this disease are incredible.

1 in two people born after 1960 in the UK will be diagnosed with some form of cancer during their lifetime. This is a scary statistic but one we can't ignore. However, it's not all doom and gloom, recent statistics have shown that ten-year survival for cancer overall has doubled over the last 40 years!

I myself, like many others, have lost people I love to cancer and will do anything possible to help fight this disease! I'll be taking this leap for my beloved Grandpa, who I lost early last year to lung cancer. I know he'd think I was mad for throwing myself out of a plane but what's life without taking risks!
