Story
On 27th February, a team featuring me and 9 other crazy souls will commence our 1052 mile bicycle and tandem ride down the UK starting at John O’Groats in the Scottish Highlands and after 11 leg burning, butt busting, body breaking days we will (hopefully) end up at Land’s End, Cornwall.
We aren’t doing this purely for the fun of it, but each of us intend to raise £1052 (£1 for each mile) for Sport Relief, an amazing cause to help vulnerable people in the UK and the rest of the world where 50% of the money will help out in the world’s poorest communities and the other 50% to transform the lives of people here in the UK. So what better cause could the money be going towards!
So if I can do my part by undertaking possibly the hardest challenge I’ve ever faced, with you guys backing me the whole way it would make a world of a difference not just for motivating me but for the millions of the people in need of our support.
As thanks for your support I’ll try my best to keep you all updated with plenty of stories and hopefully some snaps of the views and the lycra!
Thanks a bunch,
Lewis Caiger.
And make sure Gift Aid it! If you are a UK taxpayer, please remember to tick the Gift Aid box when donating as this will increase your donation by at least 25% at no cost to you.
