Before Christmas 2012, sadly Mitchs Girlfriend’s Mother namely Sue lost her long battle with Cancer and sadly passed away 15 days before Christmas leaving us, her family and friends devastated.

 

Sue was a well respected lady within the community of Leicester Forest East serving as the local District Nurse. Sue started her career of Nursing in the Army where she served for many years, then later returned home to marry her childhood sweetheart Joe and went on to have 3 healthy Daughters to which went on to make her a GrandMother for 2 boys and 1 girl.

 

Sue served the community of Leicester Forest East for over 20 years being the District nurse but sadly was diagnosed with herself with Cancer in June 2012. After a tough 6 month battle, Sue passed away peacefully in bed at a local LOROS centre with all her family present on December 15th 2013.

 

We have both recognised the hard work that LOROS do for Cancer patients to which on Saturday 1st June 2013 we will be both cycling at total of 87 miles from Leicester to Skegness in her memory of Sue and also to raise money for LOROS.
