Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I need your help.

In Mar 2020 I will taking part in the Malawi Challenge for St Lukes Hospice Plymouth.

I am lucky enough to have had the pleasure of volunteering with St Lukes Hospice Plymouth through my work and have seen first hand the amazing work they do supporting our local community and families. The care and support they give to both the individuals and their families is incredible and therefore I want to support them in anyway I can so they can continue to aid others. Im delighted that we also get to support the local communities in Malawi during our visit.

The challenge starts with a demanding 3 day trek up mt. Mulanje. The remainder of the trip will be spent volunteering in the local community. We will be sharing our skills and knowledge whilst visiting HIV/AIDS Centres, Hospices and Schools.

As well as fundraising for a great cause, the other driver for me for this trip is the personal challenge it brings. I have always wanted to participate in such a trek in order to really test myself both physically and mentally and I cannot wait to see what this amazing opportunity brings.

In order to join the Challenge, I need to raise £4000.

This is where I need your help. If anyone would like to sponsor, id be extremely thankful. Alongside my Just Giving page, I will also have buckets stationed in work, completing a Skydive in November and hopefully organising a quiz night in the run up to Christmas.

Thank You.
