After years not being active on the sporting front last year I thought it would be a jolly good idea to “run” in the 2014 York 10k. The training didn’t go to plan, but I did notice that there was a photo selfie comp for the event; so I decided to take things easy and complete the event carrying my camera. To my surprise I won the selfie comp, to my even greater surprise I found out the prize was a “2015 Golden Ticket” entrance into 4 x 10k runs and a marathon.

So for my 4th 10k of 2015 -  York 10k -  I will be raising money for York Against Cancer. The event takes place just after my 60th birthday, but I have done far more training this year, so I am aiming for a decent time to complete the race in - 60 mins, who knows?      Photos from last years http://www.mainlyfax.co.uk/p845906324
