Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Many of you will know that over the last ten years (yes, it really is that long) I have been involved in raising money from time to time for Spinal Cord Injury charities, and in particular the wonderful Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital which put Joshua's back back together again when he had his great fall on 25 June 2007.
This year I thought I would do something different, and a bit more of the same: Movember is an extraordinary charity primarily directed to raising funds for the fight against testicular cancer. In young (that's me) and middle-aged (that will be me soon) men, testicular cancer is a cruel and devastating condition. On 30 July I will, ludicrously - and without the benefit of a safety net or any sort of training - be attempting the Prudential RideLondon on my trusty Brompton bike.
And here's the deal - I am raising money for Movember so please sponsor me... BUT for every* pound* donated by my supporters, I will make a matching donation myself to the RNOH. Seems fair?
* up to £10,000 (I'm not made of money)
