Story
As most of you know our dad, Martin Hennessy passed away suddenly back in June 2020. He had lived with Atrial fibrillation (AF) and Cardiomyopthy for a while and was getting it all under control when he was suddenly taken from us with no warning.
We have never experienced loss and pain like it when we were told he was gone, so we decided we wanted to do something to help with researching heart conditions like our dad's and the various others out there, to prevent other families losing a loved one so suddenly.
Me, Joe and Amy won't be doing this alone. I have roped in my very good friends Charlotte and Tom for company and moral support.
We will be completing the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on 17th July 2021 which is a route of 24 miles and includes 1585m of ascent across the three peaks.
Thanks for visiting my page. I'm raising money for the British Heart Foundation and I'd be so grateful for your support. The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target. Thanks!
