Lets Rock Ben Nevis

Another year another challenge and this one is quite something. This year supporting Rebecca Rocks for the children of Robin House making memories through music. This fab five myself - Julie Graham, Lisa Kerr, Louise Gordon, Ainsley Tweedie and Lynsey McInally will trek Ben Nevis overnight, yip in the dark to raise money for the children receiving care at Robin House.

I first suggested this challenge to this fab lot knowing i would sign up to challenge myself and do something a bit different to raise money for this amazing charity. I am delighted they said yes and know we will train hard and reach the top supporting each other. There support over the years has been incredible. We will look back for years to come knowing we have done something quite amazing and will each overcome some fear on this TREK. .

Why Rebecca Rocks? Rebecca Rocks has been raising money since 2009, allowing the children of Robin House and their families to attend music concerts and make lasting memories. Rebecca sadly died at Robin House at the age of two with Meningitis.

Rebeccas mum Andrea became one of the two incredible doctors who cared for Jenna Skye Graham who sadly died at Robin House in 2011. Andrea was a truly amazing doctor with compassion, care and warmth. Someone who i remember fondly of my time at Robin House who cared and supported us during our hardest times.

This challenge is everything to raise as much as possible for Robin House and also work with incredible people for an incredible charity that means so much. I also hope on the top of Ben Nevis i will be close enough to touch my brightest star in the sky at night.
