Marie Curie is here for anyone with an illness they’re likely to die from, and those close to them. Whatever the illness, wherever you are, we’re with you to the end. We bring 75 years of experience and leading research to the care we give you at home, in our hospices and over the phone.

Story

“I don’t know where I’m going from here, but I promise it won’t be boring."                                Bowie, 1947 - 2016

You’ll probably have noticed that in the last few months, so many talented artists, actors and musicians have sadly departed to go to the great stage in the sky.  Some had cancer; some didn’t but it’s not only the famous struck down by this insidious disease.  Chances are all of us - or those we love - have already been touched by cancer and when this happens, Marie Curie is there for people living with any terminal illness, and their families. They offer expert care, guidance and support to help them get the most from the time they have left.

We wanted something long-lasting and positive to come out of all this sadness so for one night only, dust off your platforms, polish those x-ray specs and come and party your pants off in The Bedford’s fabulous vintage ballroom for ‘Let’s Dance (for Marie Curie) 8pm, Friday April 22, 2016

Let’s Dance is an evening celebrating the sights and sounds of the 1960’s, 1970’s or 1980’s.  There will be DJ’s; Pram Chorus will be
performing and there’ll be live music from Sylvatones and Brickwork.  We promise it won’t be boring!

Please give generously as all proceeds from the evening will be going to fund Marie Curie’s network of local hospices.
