I have always dreamt of doing something big! In 2015, having never previously undertaken any distance running, I came up with the challenge of running seven marathons in seven days (7×7) barefoot-style. I did this with some friends in support of the Southampton Hospital Charity. I had longed to do this because of the incredible professionalism the hospital had shown when my son had been rushed to the Accident and Emergency department with severe breathing difficulties brought on by complications during an asthma attack that could have proved fatal.
The fundraising result of the 7×7 Challenge was a huge £10,000, but personally, I felt I hadn’t fulfilled my dream of doing something huge, due to a freak injury. The result of this injury meant I could not do my very best, something which has led to frustration and has ultimately fuelled my desire to think REALLY big!
Fast forward four years and my recent Challenge and one of my most outstanding achievements so far was running and riding 10 back to back Ultra Duathlons from Morocco to Southampton in just 10 days, that’s a 100mile bike ride and a marathon every day.

I can't wait for the next!
Thank you everyone for your future support.
