Story
Thank you for taking the time out to view this page. Im Teesha, 28 & i will be participating in the AJ Bell Great Birmingham run (Half marathon) 2023 in Loving memory of my Dad Maxie Lynch. For those that know me, you will be aware that i took part in this event last year and it was such a phenomenal experience. My reason for taking part is to celebrate the life of My Dad who passed away April 2020 as a result of a cardiac arrest. My Dad was someone who during his younger days took much pride in running & taking part in various running events. Leading up to the date of the AJ bell get birmingham run event, The day which would of been my Dads 53rd Birthday will be heavy on my mind (26th April) & The month April will mark 3 years of my Dads passing. With such emotional dates surrounding the run, taking part in such a great event helps me to celebrate my dads life in a powerful and positive way and it also supports me to channel my grief into a great cause.
Since the Great Birmingham run 2022 i participated in, My much Loved Auntie Sharon (Dads Sister) who may i add, was first to get to my house to celebrate my achievement post run with much enthusiasm! Also passed away from a Cardiac arrest 2 months after. So i will be running this event with Both people in my heart.
Please support me surrounding this event, whether its words of encouragement, showing up on the day of the event or donating. I understand with the current financial times, it may be difficult but any amount is welcome and extremely appreciated. All funds raised will be directly donated from this site to the British heart foundation.
Thank you♥️
