I am seeking sponsors for  a 70-mile walk I shall be doing to mark my 70th birthday on 24 July 2013.   I am planning to walk around the Lleyn from Caernarfon to Portmadog along the Wales Coastal Path, a distance of something over 70 miles.  

Later in the year I am aiming to do a 70 mile bike ride and a 70-length swim and will be looking for sponsors for those.

The money raised from sponsors will go to Christian Aid, which Judy and I have supported for many years with donations and as volunteer collectors during Christian Aid Week.  Joining me on the walk will be my friends 'Chandra' Chandratillake and Peter Kelly, with whom I walk regularly, and our wives.  I would be delighted to be joined by other relatives and friends for some or all of the time; here are the details of our schedule.
