OK, so I've wanted to do this for a long time and never really had the bottle..but this last year our dear friend Clare has inspired us all and made us realise life is precious so we should make the most of every moment. (I may regret that Clare!!)

Christies Hospital became our second home for a year when Dad was diagnosed with Leukaemia and the support and care they gave him was fantastic and certainly made his last year (and ours with him) so much easier than it could have been.  They're at the forefront of cancer research and alot of this is funded through the Christie Charity.  Nearly everyone I know has been 'affected' by cancer recently either through someone they know and love or themselves and we can only hope that the research that places like Christies continue to do one day helps stop this awful disease affecting so many lives.

So for some reason this all made me think about jumping out of a plane - hopefully strapped to someone who knows what they're doing :-) - in the hope that we can raise some money for this fantastic cause.
