Story
Tracey was one of my best friends and we met at St Peter's infant school aged 4. She moved to Newport in Wales when we were in junior school but the family moved back to Poole when we had just started secondary school and we became friends again.
Sadly 7 years ago Tracey was diagnosed with breast cancer and despite battling hard, she lost her fight last October.
A hospice in Newcastle helped Tracey and her family in the final 2 months of her life. Hospices across the country do an amazing job and I wanted to say thank you for all that they did for Tracey, so signed up to walk 26 miles for local Cancer Hospice Lewis Manning.
I am not a natural long distance walker, so I am in training to try and hep me complete the 26 miles. Adrian is walking with me to show support which is amazing.
Sadly, we have other friends battling this horrible disease, so doing something positive like raising money for Lewis Manning is just a small thing that we can do.
Please do donate, every little counts.
Think of us on 18th May, it will take around 9 hours to complete the walk, hopefully on a dry, wind free day to make the walk easier.
Many Thanks
Lesley & Adrian Stephenson
