One of my dearest friends, my "sister", is battling and thankfully winning so far in her fight against cancer. I cannot fight her fight for her, but by doing this I want her to know how much I love and support her, and all my friends who have been touched by Cancer in any way. 

So on a mad miserable January day, I have made a commitment to do the Great South Run. Please donate whatever you can afford, every little bit counts, and will help spur me on in my training.
