Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My sister, Christine , was the life and soul of our family. She lit up the room whenever she walked in. She had a huge smile and was always bright and cheerful. She made me laugh.

When she contracted breast cancer we were all devastated but she faced it head on and refused to let the treatment get her down even when she was sick, in pain, lost her hair and could hardly walk.

She recovered and we were so grateful. Then 2 years to the day we were told that it had spread to her liver! She typically said ‘I’ve fought it before and I’ll fight it again’ and she did. She battled for 7 years but never gave up her positive attitude and her zest for life.

In January 2017 she lost the fight. As a family, we were completely devastated, but we talk of her often and she lives on in our hearts.

I’m doing this ride in her memory to raise money for the cancer charities which do so much for people like Christine.
