This October, I want to make a difference.
Thats why I'll be lacing up my trainers, planning my routes and taking part in Marathon in a Month in aid of local charity, Hospiscare. I'll be pounding pavements, perambulating round parks, hiking hills, leaping down lanes (well, maybe less of the leaping, but there will definitely be lanes. It is Devon, after all!) and pushing myself to clock up at least 26.2 miles throughout October.
It's going to be a challenge, but nothing compared to the challenge of a terminal diagnosis that so many face each year.
That's why I'm raising funds for local charity, Hospiscare, which provides support for terminally ill patients and their families across Exeter, Mid and East Devon. Hospiscare know that every day matters and their teams of doctors and nurses offer specialist palliative and end-of-life care, to ensure that patients can make the most of the time they have left.
So please, do something incredible - donate and make a difference. Thank you!
