Story

I was diagnosed in May 2021 with Leukaemia, I have a rare blood cancer called Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia. This was found by chance through a blood test that was took to check a severe pain I had in my tummy.

It’s the club that no one ever wants to belong to, but I joined it again in Sept 2023 when a tumour was found on my bladder and removed and turned out to be Non-Muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer.

The chemo drug I take every day and will do probably for rest of my life, the thing that keeps me alive was only developed in 2001, over twenty plus years ago through research and development within Cancer Research for Blood Cancer.Without this miracle drug I would not be here today..

So this is why I am taking part in Relay for Life Colchester 2025, to raise funds for Cancer area search UK.

To help them, help people like me live longer !!!!!

When you fundraise for Relay For Life, you’re helping fund research and make discoveries. You’re helping bring about a world where everybody can live longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.

Together we are beating cancer.!!!!

Please help me raise as much money as possible.

Thank you for your support, love the Jockette x
