We fund research and provide support to improve blood cancer patients' lives

Story

In April 2012, Sir Ian Botham will once again walk to beat blood cancers in ten cities across Great Britain. He will walk over 150 miles during the spring and is asking supporters to join him walking the final five miles around a beautiful National Trust Park. At 1pm on Friday 20th April 2012, Pat Ringham and myself plus almost 300 other fund raisers walked at Wimpole Hall, near Cambridge the final 5 miles with "Beefy". It was a cool afternoon but only rained during the final half a mile. To be fair it was good fun and my new walking boots were worth the purchase price. However I was surprised to find a couple of small hills in South Cambridgeshire !!! As you all know It is a cause close to my heart having lost my wonderful wife Linda 6 years ago to Multiple Myeloma (a rare blood cancer). Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
