Story

In August 2019, my daughter Brooke, suffered a number of cardiac arrests, due to LQTS.  She was extremely lucky to survive only due to the fantastic expertise of the ambulance service and the intensive care units of Cramlington and the Freeman Hospitals.  The CRY Charity is there to support and offer screening to young people, in order to identify the possibility of LQTS.  It offers invaluable awareness of this potentially unknown condition

Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by the sudden cardiac death. We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.
