Across Africa, the halting of tourism is threatening the livelihoods of rangers and the continent's iconic wildlife. Rangers are the first line of defence to protect endangered specialises and our aim is to support them at this critical time.

Story

In Africa, the halting of tourism has had a devastating economic impact which is threatening the livelihoods of millions of people, as well as the future of the continent’s iconic wildlife such as elephant, rhino and lion.

The Africa travel industry is coming together to Ride4Rangers by embarking on a cumulative 30,000km bike ride to raise vital funds to support rangers who are the first line of defence to protect endangered species but in many places, there is no longer the funding for them.

Every donation will be matched by the Scheinberg Relief Fund, so your donation is doubled!

Here is how your support could help:

£100 could purchase a GPS enabled camera to monitor wildlife

£200 could fund a Lion Guard Rangers salary for a month

£250 could provide materials needed to build a predator-proof livestock enclosure

£500 could sponsor a 4-man anti-poaching team in the field for a month.
