For some unknown reason, I applied for a ballot place in the London Marathon this year and managed to score myself a place.  The furthest I have ever run is 11km so there is progress to be made and there are tough times ahead!

My only aim is to beat my walking time of just over 5 hours - which may prove difficult!

I am running for St Dunstan's - a fantastic charity who support blind ex-Service men and women, enabling them to lead independent fulfilling lives.  They have provided a great deal of support to my Grandfather, which is why I am running for them.
