Redwings is the a UK horse charity which rescues and cares for horses and donkeys, saving them from a life of fear and neglect.

The charity is reliant on donations to continue to care for more than 1,500 horses, ponies, donkeys and mules at sites across the country. They also run a rehoming programme, through which 500 horses are living in Guardian homes.

Leonie was able to visit Redwings, Oxhill and the work they were doing left a lasting impression on her. She has a growing love for horses and has been desperate to raise money to help the beautiful animals that she met at Redwings. She has therefore decided to attempt to complete a whopping 8.5miles by doing the Sutton Fun Run. This is going to be a huge challenge for Leonie, who will have only just turned 6 years old a few days prior to the event. She's determined and committed to what she is doing so please help support her if you can.
