Hello and thank you for visiting my page! 

Next year I have decided to take part in a 4 day trek over the Indian himalayas with Weldmar Hospice. This will be full on and tough and will see us covering approximately 14km a day over the rocky and uneven terrain. We will face unpredictable weather, zero higene facilities (unless baby wipes count?) and a severe lack of personal space. 

(For anyone who knows me well, you will know that personal space is a must... So this trek will be both mentally and physically challenging!!) 

I have chosen to put myself through this trek in aid of the amazing work Weldmar Hospice do. My beloved Nannie was in their care for a short time at the end of her life and the support they gave to her and my family was incredible. Nothing was too much trouble and every act of care was genuine. 

It is easy to appreciate services and local charities, but without funding they just wouldn't be able to function. My fundraising target is HUGE and is possibly the most scary part of this whole experience.
