Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As part of my homeschool project I learned about the UN sustainable development goals, I decided to complete a project about goal 6 - water and sanitation.  During my learning I found out that lots of children have to walk up to 4 miles to collect dirty water every day and this can stop them being able to go to school and make them poorly, I thought this was unfair.

My primary school ‘The Clinton C of E primary’ Devon sponsor a girl called Angel, who lives in Uganda,  though the charity Edukid.  I learned that one of Angel’s jobs before school is to collect water for her family and I decided to do something to help.

My bike ride to collect water will take place on National Water Day and I will experience what it is like to cycle 2 miles to collect 2 litres of water and carry it home again.
