6 Hours I 6 Hero WODs I 1 Community I 1 Cause
Recently we lost a beloved Leo Legend, Phil Robinson, after his battle with lung cancer. To honour the incredible impact he had on everyone around him, especially here at the gym, we are celebrating his life with a dedicated Leo Hero Day.
On March 26th starting at 6 am, we're getting the Leo Community together to work hard on the gym floor and dig deep to raise as much money as possible for the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation.
6 WODS
From 6 am - 12 pm there will be 6 Hero WODs as follows:
1. MURPH: For Time 1 Mile Run, 100 Pull-Ups, 200 Push Ups, 300 Air Squats, 1 Mile Run
2. DT: 5 RFT 12 Deadlifts (155/105 lb), 9 Hang Power Cleans (155/105 lb), 6 Push Jerks (155/105 lb)
3. SANTA FUN RUN: 5 km Run along Phil's Original Run Club Route
4. JACK: AMRAP (20 mins) 10 Push Press (115/85 lb), 10 KB Swings (1.5/1 pood), 10 Box Jumps (24/20 in)
5. THE RANDY: For Time 75 Power Snatches (75/55 lb)
6. THE PHIL: In Pairs 20 mins For Quality 3 Rnds 10 Bench at Body Weight, 21 Bicep Curls (7 top half, 7 bottom half, 7 full range). Into... 20 min WOD 800m Run Buy-In, AMRAP- In 3's YGIG Exercises 10 DB Box Step Up, 5 Strict Pull Up, 30 DU, 10 Press Ups, 8 Deadlifts (100/70). *If resting you MUST cheer and support everyone around you, as Phil would have done.
We want everyone to get involved to honour our late friend and create a Leo atmosphere deserving of a lost Hero.
