Story

We are both running in the 2009 London Marathon on Sunday 26 April. We are raising money for 2 charities the Leeds Cancer Vaccine and LJWB, all the money raised for these two exceptional charities will be divided equally and we thank you in advance for your much needed support.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL MONIES ARE PAID DIRECTLY INTO LEEDS JEWISH WELFARE BOARD ACCOUNT - THE TOTAL WILL THEN BE DIVIDED EQUALLY (50/50) BETWEEN LJWB AND LEEDS CANCER VACCINE, AS THIS PAGE WILL NOT HOST TWO CHARITIES.

Leeds Cancer Vaccine research uses a variety of strategies to harness the immune system to fight tumours i.e. generating anti-cancer vaccinations. It also uses viruses which can specifically kill cancer cells and generate an anti-tumour immune response.  This 'bench to bedside' approach is challenging and can be very costly, but is the only way new scientific advances can be translated into real benefits for cancer patients.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us.

So please sponsor us now!

Thank you

Clare & Chris
