Lena Etherington, who is 75 years old, is preparing to skydive for Christian Aid on the 16^th of May at Black Knights Parachute Centre in Lancaster. Lena will take part in this sponsored jump, weather permitting and ‘hopes to raise a lot of money for Christian Aid.’

Lena, who is ‘not nervous at all’, has been planning this jump for quite a while now but when everyone at church encouraged her to jump for Christian Aid, this really gave her the incentive to do it!

This bold act comes from a fearless lady and it’s all in support of this year’s Christian Aid Week (10-16 May 2015 www.caweek.org), Britain’s longest running door-to-door fundraising week. This year, Christian Aid are asking the British public to support women living in poverty around the world who are discriminated against from birth. Please give generously!
