Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My goal is to cycle 839 miles from Lands End to John O'Groats in under 52hrs 45mins. This time is the fastest journey from Land's End to John-O'-Groats by bicycle (female) official Guinness World Records (GWR) & Road Records Association (RRA) set in 2002 by Lynne Taylor (Biddulph).

In doing this record attempt, I am also raising money in memory of my mother Elizabeth Mackenzie (Betty Bruce) who sadly passed away in July 2014 whilst diagnosed with Vascular Dementia.

Alzheimer Scotland (Western Isles) provides advice and support for people with a diagnosis of Dementia and their carers/families in the Western Isles area.

Thank you to everyone who already purchased The Robert Millar T-shirt – The Cycle Jersey and raised £1015 for Alzheimer Scotland - Western Isles | Facebook

Updates on the record attempt will be posted via:
