Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
For those who have not heard Helping Harry Help Others, I urge you to visit the website and learn about a young boy who whilst suffering from a brain tumor raised £500,000 for Cancer Research. His legacy continues in the HHHO charity.
One is not the slimmest of people and nor is the route necessarily on nice smooth tarmac (why make it easy), nor is there a support vehicle for when things go wrong. So as you can probably guess, this will be quite a challenge. If all goes well, I’m hoping to reach John O’Groats on Saturday 29th August.
If any keen cyclists wish to join me on this epic ride, then I will gladly welcome you to join me on any of the legs. Details of the journey can be found here: http://ordinarygentlemen.co.uk/about-lejog-2015/
If you'd rather stay at home and see how long I'm taking to get up hills and how wet I'm getting in the rain, or how long I'm spending in the pub, then you can follow me at www.facebook.com/cyclinglejog2014.
From the 14th August, you'll be able to follow us live as we'll be broadcasting our location and photos direct from the bike at http://ordinarygentlemen.co.uk/live-track/
