Story
We are challenging ourselves to ride 1200 miles on 125cc motorcycles from Lands end to John o Groats.
Having travelled all over the world together on bikes, we decided in post brexit, post covid world, this year we would try a staycation with a difference and see our own country whilst still maintaining an element of stupidity by taking on the famous LeJog. A journey of 1200 miles and almost double that as a round trip from home. In just a week!!!
Leaving lands end Sat 18th June and arriving John O Groats Sat 25th June.
With the awful events in Ukraine, we would like to try and support the DEC Ukraine appeal and ask friends and family to sponsor us a few coins to support this fantastic cause.
We will be posting updates here and via social media so please follow along.
Thank you and see you on the road...
Intense conflict in Ukraine is threatening the lives and livelihoods of civilians across the country, causing millions to flee. Homes have been destroyed. Essential services have been hit. Families have been separated. People have been injured. Lives have been lost. DEC charities and their local partners are in Ukraine and across the border in the neighbouring countries. They are working to meet the immediate needs of all people fleeing with food, water, medical assistance, protection and trauma care.£30 could provide essential hygiene supplies for three people for one month£50 could provide blankets for 4 families to keep them warm£100 could provide emergency food for two families for one month
