Story
Thanks for visiting my page. I'm raising money for the British Heart Foundation and I'd be so grateful for your support.
If you know me you will know I'm more likely to be finding an excuse rather than go out and ride. This year I've decided to change all that. Attitude change lifestyle change and a desire to make a difference in some small kind of way through doing an activity I enjoy. With some help from a good friend and a couple of keen work colleagues, we decided a good start would be the Manchester to Blackpool bike ride. A step up from our usual 15 or so miles around the local woods and a step up to some proper miles. This is just the start and the first goal to aim for, if you wish to donate to make it all worthwhile in any way it would be appreciated and encourage us to push ourselves harder and further in the future to keep making any small difference we can.
The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target. Thanks!
