We breed and train guide dogs to give blind people freedom and mobility

Story

Hi all,

On the 9th May we will be setting off from Glasgow and cycling ALL the way to Edinburgh!  (Around 60 miles). Even our dog Alfie has been roped into training and joins us on our relentless laps around the park!

With neither of us claiming to be at our physical peak, we are both starting to get a little bit nervous so please make the pain worth while by donating any pennies you can!

Guide Dogs have been providing guide dogs to blind and partially-sighted people for over 75 years. The charity relies entirely on voluntary donations so whatever you can spare will be greatly appreciated!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Guide Dogs gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thank you!!

The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.
