Event: Great Manchester Run 2018, on 20 May 2018
Participants: Hopefully my long time friend and brilliant local GP Dr. Andy Wright will dig out his old trainers and run with me. So that will be two old codgers staggering towards the finish more dead than alive.
We believe that any student should have access to a world-class education, regardless of their social or financial background.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I was fortunate enough to benefit from a free education at the University of Manchester with full maintenance grant. How times have changed. Still, access to University Education should be available to everyone regardless of their background and means. That's why I am pleased to take part in this year's run and to raise funds for Undergraduate Access Scholarships for students from disadvantaged backgrounds

The 2018 Great Manchester Run is taking place on Sunday 20 May, two days before the first anniversary of the devastating Manchester Arena attack which killed 22 people. The run will be a show of strength and solidarity for the city and its people. Because, this is the place.....
