Story
Leigh Foley, Rachel Hyde, Martin Grant and Lawrence Wade from Fine and Country's Office in Solihull will be sleeping rough on Friday 24th November in aid of St Basils Big Birmingham Sleep Out 2017.
The donations will be going to End Youth Homelessness (EYH), Fine and Country Foundations National Partner which is formed of nine homelessness charities across the Country. St Basils covers the West Midlands region and is hosting a Sleep Out for the campaign. The Foundation focus their efforts on EYH's Safe Nights Fund. £25 pays for a young homeless person to have a warm and safe place to sleep for one night. With this, they are put on record so that they cannot be forgotten about. Additionally, they are given mental and physical health checks, education and work support and round-the -clock care. It is the first step towards helping a young person get off the streets for good.
The weather is already turning nasty and the temperature has started to drop. Many of us have the luxury of a roof over our heads, food on the table, central heating, hot water and a safe, warm comfy bed to go home to at the end of every day. Please help us to help the homeless find temporary or permanent accommodation especially through the tough winter months ahead.
