Admiral Nurses provide the specialist dementia support that is needed by families affected by dementia. They work in the community, in care homes, in hospices and hospitals.

When things get challenging or difficult, our nurses work alongside people with dementia, and their families: giving them one-to-one support, expert guidance and practical solutions. The unique dementia expertise and experience an Admiral Nurse brings is a lifeline–it helps families to live more positively with dementia in the present, and to face the challenges of tomorrow with more confidence and less fear.

Thanks to our fundraising, Leicestershire now has two Admiral Nurses working in the community. This is great news but many more are needed to help all the families in Leicestershire. We will continue to raise awareness and funds for more Admiral Nurses. Thank you for your support.
