Story
23 Essex Street has set up a choir, called Essex Street Singers. They are going to be singing in the final of the Legal Harmony choir competition at Southwark Cathedral on Thursday 15th May. Please see www.legalharmony.co.uk for more details.
The choir was set up in memory of Harry Smith who sadly passed away last year. We are seeking to raise money, as well as win the competition, for our nominated charity Papyrus. They help all those who have lost loved ones who have taken their own lives. These, often young, people leave behind, not only great loss and pain, but also so many questions. Papyrus is there to help. Please see their website http://www.papyrus-uk.org/ for more information and support.
We welcome support for the choir and for the charity in whatever manner. Please feel free to support us directly, or via our just giving website. It really is in a good cause and one we all care about personally.
