The Foodbank where I volunteer every Saturday has been opened since lockdown to help the local community. Believe me it is very much needed. At 8am when we are prepping; the queue of people is already going around the building. I see many families including mothers with small children, the elderly as well as people who are visibly sick waiting for us to open at 11am. 

I am happy to be there and see how we help everyone that comes and what it means to them, but I am also saddened to see so many in such great need BUT together we can support them to get through this tough time in their lives. 

We have also expanded to have a section where the homeless can come in for a chat and cup of tea and sometimes soup. We will be putting on a Christmas dinner for them this year.
