Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
On Friday 9th October 2009 nine CFS Internal Auditors are embarking on a Challenging Bike Ride to raise funds for our Charity of the Year RNID.
The auditors taking part in the challenge are JOHN CARNES, DAMIAN GRUNDY, PHIL HIGGINBOTTOM, ANN-MARIE HO, ALAN KAY, JOHN LEES, PETE METCALFE, DREW STAFFORD AND NICK STORER.
To symbolise our merger with Britannia Building Society, the ride will commence at their Head Office in Leek, and will then travel through Bosley, along the Canal as far as Macclesfield, pick up the Middlewood Way as far as Marple, and then join up with the Canal again via Ashton and Manchester before finishing at CFS' Head Office.
Altogether, we will be cycling approximately 72 kilometres each which it is envisaged will take approximately seven hours to complete, and with the exception of one or two of us, the majority have not sat on a bike for close on fifteen years.
We would really appreciate it if you could take the time to sponsor us, to keep us motivated throughout the ride.
