Story
Our journey started back in September 2012 when Lee suddenly got very ill and after 8 weeks of tests and a massive operation, was diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma of the Pancreatic Duct. He had a years worth of chemo and a Tace procedure only to be told on 14th Feb 2014 that his cancer was now widespread and there was nothing else that anyone could do. Throughout this journey Lee fought with the greatest of courage and started fundraising, to start with, for some experimental treatment which unfortunately he never got the opportunity to have but then for Pancreatic Cancer UK . Lee set the target of raising £20,000 which we will continue to do in his memory. Only 1% of all the money raised for cancer research goes to researching Pancreatic Cancer so no wonder survival rates haven't improved for over 40 years! Please donate and help this worthy cause in any way that you can.
Many thanks and very best wishes
