We are running the Leeds Half Marathon in memory of Bob O'Keefe. Bob was diagnosed with MND in 2018 and passed away in early 2022. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and colleague and is greatly missed. He would also think it is absolutely hilarious that we're running a half marathon in his name - but here we are! 

In total, there will be 10 of us running: Jackie, Maddy, Rod, Daisy, Will, Liv, Will, Camilla, Nathan and Matt. 

MND is life-limiting and there is currently no cure. The risk of developing MND is 1 in 300, but because it kills a third of people within a year there are only 5000 adults affected in the UK at any one time. 

We are not only fundraising money for the MNDA, who fund research whilst also supporting families and carers, but also hoping to raise awareness of this terrible disease.
