Story
I am currently training for this year’s Virgin London Marathon and am fundraising in aid of Help Harry Help Others through an arrangement with Cancer Research UK.
Harry Moseley was a young lad who despite suffering himself with a tumour, focussed solely on helping others. He made and sold handmade bracelets and raised over £500,000 for Cancer Research UK.
Like many others I heard about Harry via the media. Despite being saddened by his passing at such a young age, I took great solace in what he achieved in his short life. To do what he did whilst fighting his own battle was an act of selflessness and set an example to us all. For me, this is about doing a small part to Help Harry Help Others continue their incredible achievements in making a difference.
Part of Harry’s mission was to raise funds to help fund research projects to find a cure for brain tumours. Help Harry Help Others continues this key element of Harry’s mission through their work to ‘Help Cure’ by funding brain cancer research projects across the country. Many of the UK’s cancer research projects are set up by Cancer Research UK and Help Harry Help Others joins up with Cancer Research UK to channel funds directly into this research. The money raised through this page will be go straight towards funding such projects.
