Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

Over several  years I have been raising money for the charity DebRA, by attending the DebRA celebrity charity dinner auctions, filling many tables and donating items to be auctioned off which have been a great success.

This is a great charity to donate your money to because you can see the progress of the people who have EB and you get lots of feedback from the charity.

If anyone would like to suggest anything that I can do to raise money, or you have any suggestions or ideas for fundraising and you need help don’t hesitate to contact me on 0752 3937 701 or email me on motor71@hotmail.co.uk or contact your charities regional manager Tony Eckersall  on 0161 286 5340 or email on tony.eckersall@ntlworld.com

Last month (feb 08), a beautiful little girl Melissa, passed away at the age of ten. Her body was in so much pain it gave in to let her rest in peace. This has made me even more determined to raise as much money as possible this year.

Last year we managed to raise £5,700. On the 4th of July me and the St Helens cyclists are doing a three day sponsored bike ride from Carlisle back down to St Helens, which is 150 miles, in the hope to raise £10,000 for the charity DebRA.

sponsor me online. my own personal target is £2,000

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: DebRA will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.

if you would like any more information on EB you can view the charities site at  http://www.debra.org.uk/inyourregion/North+West+and+North+Central.htm

There is also a documentary on this condition called ‘the boy who’s skin fell off’ it is inspiring and great to watch, if you contact Tony as above he may be able to forward a copy of the documentary on to you.
