Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. Our journey began 18 months ago, after discovering a lump in my breast our world changed forever. After numerous consultations and finally two operations and then a course of radiotherapy later we are all still here. Looking back it's amazing what can be squeezed into a year. We understand first hand the importance of a purpose build breast cancer unit. The times i was sat in public waiting areas feeling very vulnerable, having to move from one waiting area to another and then back again. This unit would bring all the relevant services together. Having a private dedicated breast cancer unit at the hospital would allow patients to have more privacy and dignity at a very stressful time.
So we have turned our experience into a positive step to giving something back. Lee and I will be running the virtual London Marathon on Sunday 2nd October and then 2 weeks later Lee and I will be joined by Albert to then run the Amsterdam Marathon on Sunday16th October. Our support crew in Amsterdam will be Walter and Martha. I know it's very difficult times for people at the moment so please donate what you can to this much needed charity.
Thank you!
Tracey, Lee and Albert
