We provide maternal health programmes to save lives in childbirth in Africa

Story

I've done it as a staff member..  I've seen the hills, I know how far it is, and I know how hot it gets!  But I've also seen the maternity worldwide project and met women whose lives have been saved due to the work of maternity worldwide.  So this year - the year I turn 30 - I've decided to get in shape, take a deep breath and cycle across ETHIOPIA to support the work of maternity worldwide.

I (yes, me!  Lee Webster!  the one who hates gyms!), will do a 200 mile bike ride across Ethiopia, through mountainous terrain and in difficult conditions.

YOU can help me out, by giving me a huge boost to my training, and doing your bit to help save lives in childbirth inAfrica.  You can find out more about Maternity Worldwide here: www.maternityworldwide.org

If everyone I know gives me just £5, less than the cost of 2 pints, I will have reached my target!

I've set up a blog so you can keep up to date with my fundraising, training and Ethiopia experience.  Read it here: http://lee-cycles-ethiopia.blogspot.com/

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me:Maternity Worldwide will receive your money faster and, if you are a taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
