Story

By running the Cardiff Half Marathon 'we' (me doing the running and you pledging the money) are helping persons who are struggling with their mental health.

In the current climate of rapid changes in Society, changes that can challenge the most resilient of us, COVID has shown we can rise to new challenges. However, COVID has also shown how indiscriminate and disproportionate imposed changes can be. Showing us that no-matter how 'good' we are 'sh1t happens' and it could happen to anyone.

We don't always get to intentionally control our future nor do we always see a way to get from where we are to where we would prefer to be.

I wish the money raised to help the Neuroscience and mental health institute at Cardiff University to continue their research in support of mental health.

As a Chiropractor I regularly see the body sequelae of mental health issues in the muscles of people affected.
