A 10,000 feet freefall parachute jump in Swansea on the 26th March 2023. An event to raise vital funds to support work improving the lives of people with a learning disability across Wales.

Story

On Sunday 26th March 2023, my son Tom and I will be jumping from over 10,000 feet  at 120mph and raising money for Mencap Cymru.

My grandfather, Glanville Davies, was a parachutist in the Second World War. He endured unspeakable horrors, including the battle of Arnhem. It haunted him for the rest of his life. He was very important to me and when he died I pledged to myself that I would one day jump as a quiet tribute to him.

The jump is to help Mencap Cymru who do fantastic work to improve the lives of the 65,000 people with a learning disability by providing a range of support services, as well as advice and advocacy. Please support me by donating and please know that every penny helps, thank you!
