Lee's Run for Disabled Cricket, 3 April 2010
Participants: Lee Walker
We use sport and dance to change young people's lives

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As some of you are aware i currently play disabled cricket for the county side and the Cricket for Change charity has been an important part to making this a possibility.

On Satuday 3rd April I will be participating in a 15 mile run with some fellow disabled cricketers and coach. The run will begin at Lords Cricket Ground, then we run to The Oval and we will finish at the Cricket for Change Centre in Plough Lane Wallington.

The run is in aid of Cricket for Change taking 26 young people with either a learning disability, a physical disability or a visual impairment for a life changing trip to Jamaica.   The young people will benefit from spending time away from their parents for the first time, developing self-confidence and self-esteem.  The trip will also enable them to play against the respective Jamaica National disability team.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
