I am running the Sheffield half marathon to raise funds for Barnsley Hospital Covid ICU wards to try and show my appreciation for all the great work they are doing, in particular the great compassion and effort they all showed when caring for my brother Martin who unfortunately lost his battle with Covid-19 in March this year.

You also cared for some of my work colleagues and their families during their time in need with Covid-19 ensuring they are all on the road to recovery.

Everyone working on the Covid wards please keep up the great work you are all hero's in my eyes.
